Outpatient ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Competency Exam:    

The ICD-10-CM and ICID-10-PCS Outpatient Competency Exam is designed to test the coder on the  key coding concepts of both ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS as pertains to Outpatient coding.  The exam does not have a time limit, but the expected time for completion is 3 hours.

• The exams are designed to test the coder’s competency regarding the key coding concepts needed to become a proficient ICD-10 coder. 
• When the coder takes the exam they receive immediate feedback following completion of each question. 
• The coder may not move backward once the codes have been submitted.
• A final score is calculated when the exam is completed.
• All exams can be discontinued and revisited with any previous work saved.
• Unlimited attempts are available for all exams.
• When the coder takes an exam multiple times their highest graded attempt is retained and displayed.
